Two more strong, VC Alum begin college soccer seasons for ranked teams.

With Jeff Coggan and Ben Hansen joining the college ranks, the list now stands at six active college players who played their high school soccer at Valley Christian.

Donny Dequine: MF, Azusa Pacific University.

Entering his senior year with APU, Donny will look to build on success that has seen him score 4 goals, and 4 assists in 57 games played.  The team is ranked #2 in the Nation (NAIA) after a trip to the national championship game last season.  Dequine, who started in the final, played for the San Jose Firecrackers in the offseason

James Coggan: F, Seattle Pacific University.

Ben Hansen: GK, Azusa Pacific University.

Valley Christian's all-time leading goalkeeper takes his show down south to APU to join Stirm and Dequine in the attempt to win a National Championship. Ben joins three other goalkeepers in a competition that promises to keep him on his toes.

Ben will also be fighting for the starting job on the football team, ranked #11 in the country.  Hansen will attempt to become the first athlete in ten years at APU to play both soccer and football at the same time (last was coach Basanese in '96).
